MATTHEW MCCUSKER

CARSON MIDDLE

With a Masters Degree in Health and Physical Education Teacher Education from Slippery Rock University Matt has taught Health and Physical Education at North Allegheny since 2007. With many coaching experiences from K to 12th grade. He is currently the Varsity Wrestling Strength and Conditioning Coach at North Allegheny. Matt is a Brand X Certified Kids Trainer, Level 1 CrossFit, CrossFit Endurance, and a POSE Running Certified Trainer. He is a United States TACFIT - VIKING NINJA Team Leader.

DEAN BORONYAK

INGOMAR ELEMENTARY

With a Master's degree from Gannon University and a Bachelor's from Slippery Rock University, Dean has taught K-6 Health and Physical Education since 2002. He loves working with young children to help them grow and learn. He also has vast experience coaching football and baseball at all levels and teaching before and after school fitness classes. Dean also utilizes his Speed and Quickness training and UPMC Sports Training within his coaching, Intramurals, and teaching. Dean currently teaches health and physical education at Ingomar Elementary and is the elementary department facilitator. Dean was named the Elementary Pennsylvania Physical Education Teacher of the year 2019.

CHRISTOPHER JACKSON

PEEBLES ELEMENTARY

With a Master's Degree in Exercise, Science Chris has taught K-6 Elementary Health & Physical Education since 2001. Along with 2 years as a Fitness and Wellness instructor at West Chester University. Chris has vast experience coaching various youth soccer teams. Chris teaches various after-school classes such as hockey, rollerblading, biking, ball Sports & fitness classes. He has also held various personal training and intramural positions for adults and children. Chris has trained at various Cross fit facilities, participated in obstacle course racing and rides and races roads, gravel & trail for a local bicycle team. Chris was named Elementary Pennsylvania Physical Education Teacher of the year 2018.

MARK CRAWFORD

MARSHALL ELEMENTARY

Mark graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2010 with a B.S.Ed. in Health and Physical Education, and from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014 with a M.S.Ed. in Health, Fitness, and Exercise Physiology during which time he taught classes for the university. Mark has been teaching elementary HPE at North Allegheny School District for seven years, while also teaching a variety of after school and intramural classes for students. In addition to teaching, Mark is in his eleventh year of coaching lacrosse for North Allegheny, serving as the head JV coach and varsity assistant coach.
